After getting kicked out for being gay, 18-year-old Theo is dumped at a Catholic church to be "cured" — and finds his new priest is young, hot... and a huge jerk who makes Theo his personal altar boy. What starts as a game of temptation becomes a slow-burn obsession neither can pray away, but as the game turns real, both Theo and Alexander risk losing everything to a love neither of them is supposed to want.

How to read these figures
Each row is the latest value published by its source, at its date. The measures are never added together: plays shown by an app are not ad exposures. The ReelShort counter is the one the app displays; its definition is not published. A change compares two readings of the same measure from the same source.

The VDS column shows method 1 scores, retired in October 2026, which do not describe current performance (details on the VerticalDrama Score page). Views and ranks come from the charts named in the last column. When a row spans several weeks, the reading did not move over that period: nothing is interpolated.
Altarboy spans 63 episodes, shot in vertical 9:16 for mobile viewing. The short episodic format compresses narrative around cliffhangers — every episode ends on a break that pulls you to the next.
