The ranking lies better than the views do
Altarboy sits at the top of the ReelShort top 10 with 7.9 million views. Ms. CEO's Baby Daddy Is the Merchant of Death lags in eighth place — with 409 million views, fifty times more. It's the VDS that settles the matter: 77.0, reach at 95, the highest score on the board. The consumer ranking and the real-pressure score don't tell the same story, and it's the ranking that's wrong. It measures chart freshness, not audience.
This week also confirms that rank has no memory: I Accidentally Sexted My Enemy climbs to 71.0 without even appearing in week 36's ranking, and The Lost Quarterback Returns, unchanged in views to within a million, stays stuck as a VDS contender for lack of momentum. A title can stagnate in position while its score climbs, or the reverse — the two metrics don't measure the same thing, and mistaking one for the other means reading the market backwards.
The real hierarchy isn't the ReelShort podium. It's Ms. CEO out front, well ahead of everything glittering at the top of the board.
This analysis crosses data from 12 independent sources. The VerticalDrama Score (VDS) is a proprietary composite metric.
