INTERVIEW

Hugo Brisbois, Co-Founder of Sweetz

By · Streaming Radar · 2026-09-15
Hugo Brisbois co-founded Sweetz, a joint venture between his AI studio Nation and the mobile app publisher Kovalee. The app has been on the French App Store since 14 April 2026, went fully live on iOS on 3 September, and the funding — a little over a million euros, with the M6 group among the shareholders — was announced the day after. He is the first of this series to hold production, distribution and the till at once. On Virus à Bord, about 45% of the shots are reworked or generated by AI; on Idolz, shot in motion control with actors, every shot goes through the machine. None of the money buys series: it buys tests, until he goes back for more in 2027.

Key Takeaways

"We do zero 100% live action production, there is always AI"

Forty-five per cent of the shots on Virus à Bord go through the machine; on Idolz, shot in motion control with actors, all of them

Four witnesses, one dividing line: the machine on the image, not on the story — "they are still assistants"

The million does not buy series, it buys tests — content, app, conversion funnels

First of the four to hold all three pillars: he produces, he distributes, he takes the money
